To start, the latte had a very nutty flavor with a smokey crema. Definitely my type of coffee.
The croissant was perfectly flakey and buttery on the inside even if it didn't look like the typical croissant. Looks aside, it was delicious.
The double boiled mushroom soup had a sweet aftertaste probably from the cream but was hearty and had a strong mushroom flavor.
The ayam pongteh was a little too tender as it slid right off the bone. But overall, the flavors were good.
The truffle carbonara & bacon brisket was incredibly rich and creamy. The pasta was perfectly al dente for me (but probably not for Italians). I'm glad I wasn't greedy and ordered large filling sides cause the pasta itself was very filling.
Although the menu seems rather small - just a handful each of rice bowls, brunch items and pasta items but all the dishes were executed well. I'm glad I managed to pay them a visit.
