It's been 3 years since my last visit and it's still as good as I remembered.
Tried a tandoor-cooked Murgh Malai Kabab chicken and it was amazingly moist with a tinge of sour to balance out the creaminess of the rich cream and cheese. With the lime juice and mint chutney, it was a bright and almost refreshing dish.
The lamb rogan josh had a good amount of heat in a rich and flavorful thick sauce. It was a good dish to have to balance out all the other milky and creamy dishes we had.
The paneer butter masala is on the sweeter side but the sauce had a slight smokey flavor. The paneer was chewy, a delightful texture.
The bread were excellent as well. Pictured are the flakey Tandoori Paratha, a butter brushed roti and a garlic naan nestled in a cloth to keep warm.
7Spice is easily my favorite Northern Indian restaurant in Malaysia. I always find myself here at least once every time I'm in Johor. On a Thursday night, the restaurant was half full, I'm so glad to see that they're doing well.
