The newest addition to Damansara Uptown's dessert scene is CHURN, serving primarily ice-cream that will easily churn your appetite for more.
Their ice cream is dense but has a pleasant silky texture that envelopes the tongue with just enough sweetness allowing the flavors to really shine through.
The Nutty Pistachio is hands down the best pistachio ice cream I've ever had. The intense pistachio flavor is unlike any other, it was akin to eating super smooth, creamy & cold pistachio paste. The strawberry milk seems to be a crowd favorite with fragrant strawberry notes and fresh strawberry flavors. None of that artificial stuff.
A yeasty and buttery scent lingers in the cafe from sourdough waffles baking, making it hard to resist and fortunately, it tastes as good as it smelled. The exterior was crunchy but the interior, fluffy with a slight chew. It was easily one of the best waffles I've had in a while.
Make time to visit CHURN, preferably on a weekday night as it's likely to be crazy packed on weekends.
